2.1 Object

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the distance purchase of products available in the Borgo Giulia Shop (“Products”) through the website.

2.2 Seller’s Identity

The seller is Azienda Agricola Borgo Giulia s.a.s., with its registered office and contact details provided on the “Legal Notice” page.

2.3 Definitions

• Customer/User: the person placing an order on the website
• Consumer: a natural person who purchases for purposes unrelated to their professional activity
• Products: wines and other goods available in the shop (including any vouchers/experiences, if purchasable online)

2.4 Availability and Product Sheets

The information provided in the product sheets describes the essential characteristics. Images are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately reproduce details such as vintage, label, or packaging, without affecting the type and quality of the product.

In the event of unavailability after the order has been placed, Borgo Giulia will contact the Customer to propose alternatives or proceed with a refund.

2.5 Prices and Taxes

Prices are indicated in Euros and include VAT (unless otherwise stated). Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation, according to the “Shipping Rates” page.

2.6 Conclusion of the Contract

The contract is considered concluded when the Customer receives an order confirmation (via email and/or on screen). Borgo Giulia reserves the right to refuse the order in justified cases (e.g., incomplete information, payment anomalies, unmanageable unavailability).

2.7 Sale of Alcohol and Age Requirement

The sale of alcoholic beverages is allowed only to adults. By placing an order, the Customer declares that they are at least 18 years old. The courier may request identification upon delivery and refuse the delivery if age verification fails.

2.8 Payment methods

The accepted methods are listed on the “Payment Methods” page. Orders are processed after payment has been received (except in cases of instant bank transfer).

2.9 Shipping and delivery

The rules regarding shipping, delivery times, delivery attempts, storage, and damage handling are described on the “Shipping and Delivery” page. The Customer is required to provide a correct and complete address.

2.10 Legal Warranty

For Consumers, the legal warranty of conformity applies according to current legislation. Any defects or non-conformities must be reported to info@borgogiulia.it with a description and photographic documentation.

2.11 Limitations of Liability

Borgo Giulia is not liable for delays caused by force majeure or carrier disruptions (weather events, strikes, blockages, etc.), without prejudice to its commitment to assist the Customer in tracking and managing the shipment.

2.12 Intellectual Property

The content, texts, images, trademarks, and layout of the website are protected and may not be copied or reused without authorization.

2.13 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with Consumers, territorial jurisdiction follows the applicable regulations; in other cases, the competent court is Salerno.
